Hi, I enrolled my son for the First Aid, CPR C course and was absolutely impressed with the instructor. Listening from outside in the waiting area, I found I was learning as well, Crystal was very informative, engaging and knowledgeable. Keep up the good work. Definitely will promote this academy to other parents!
First time hearing of Lifeguarding Academy as I have found them through LSS. I decided to sign my daughter for Bronze Cross due to the close and convenient location to my home. I found the process very easy and I like the feature that I can live chat with someone to assist me. My kids really enjoyed the course this weekend and said that their instructor was great - Very helpful and informative but fun too!
I think that the hybrid HCP CPR course is an amazing idea and I loved my experience. I already work full time as a nurse so I hate the idea of having to sit through a 4 hour course every year. The webinars were thorough, interactive and easy to understand. I’m glad that I did my course through Lifeguarding Academy. Like the many other reviews, I found my course to be extremely affordable and most importantly, the quality was not compromised. I will 100% be recertifying through Lifeguarding Academy from now on.
My friends have been recommending me to take my National Lifeguard certificate through Lifeguarding Academy and I am beyond happy. I started with my Bronze Medallion at Toronto Lifeguarding and decided to continue my courses with Lifeguarding Academy instead. Comparing the two, Lifeguarding Academy is organized, consistent and professional. I kid you not when I say that every single instructor there goes above and beyond to train you as the best lifeguard. Graduating from the course, I am so ecstatic to start my summer job as a lifeguard and thanks to Lifeguarding Academy, I feel prepared and confident. On top of the quality of the courses, the courses were affordable and easily accessible which added the cherry on top of everything. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is that I wish they would run weekday courses because I work on the weekends but Lifeguarding Academy did a great job at being responsive and extremely accomodating. LGA will definitely be my forever to go place!
I found the whole process an amazing experience starting with the accommodation of the organizer. Cristina was able to get me into a private class with very little notice. The instructor, Pedram was very knowledgeable and his skill set for teaching was awesome. I feel completely confident in recommending this course to anyone who needs certification.
The fact that I was able to sign up here less than 24 hours before the course began was fantastic. Usually, these courses require weeks of booking in advance and sometimes at obscure locations. Its amazing to have what before was never readily available (almost if not every week) to always be offered. As expected from a business dedicated strictly to instructing people to become qualified lifeguards, the instructors are great at teaching the material, know their stuff and also make the time fun and enjoyable while being extremely helpful and informative. Furthermore, the response and response times to any questions, comments and concerns are always fruitful and fast. Its a great concept that also works. Don't know why this idea hasn't been done earlier (to this extent) in Ontario.
I felt very welcome through my course, everything was clear, the teacher had a great teaching style and got everyone very familiar with everything we needed. My suggestion would maybe increase the amount of mediums of teaching, like have a few more videos. But I was incredibly pleased with it!
I want to thank the staff at Lifeguarding Academy for a great experience. We found them online and after speaking with other companies, Pedram was the one to go with. He was detailed, knowledgeable, personable and runs a solid program. I sent my two kids there and one passed on the first try and the other did not, which helps me to feel confident as to the legitimacy of the program. We worked hard at it, and eventually my other child passed bronze cross on the second time around. Arya is an amazing instructor! I have recommended Lifeguarding Academy to other friends.
I did my recertification with this swim school and i couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone in my class was so friendly and my instructor Pedram was very clear and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back again for any future recertifications.
