Leave Policy

By proceeding with registration, you acknowledge and agree that students, including those under the age of 18, will not be under Lifeguarding Academy’s supervision during designated break periods. You also hereby consent to the minor leaving the premises during these breaks, recognizing that once the student leaves, they will not be under the supervision or responsibility of Lifeguarding Academy. Break periods and any times outside the scheduled course hours are unsupervised.

If you do not wish the student to leave the premises during break periods, it is the sole responsibility of the Parent and/or Legal Guardian to inform Lifeguarding Academy in writing prior to the start of the course. Lifeguarding Academy shall not be held responsible for preventing the student from leaving the premises during the course or scheduled break times.

You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lifeguarding Academy, as well as its employees, staff, instructors, and representatives, from any claims, liabilities, actions, damages, or losses arising out of a student’s actions or activities during any unsupervised times before or after a scheduled course or during a break period.

In the event the student becomes ill at any time and elects to go home, Lifeguarding Academy will endeavor to notify and contact the Parent or Legal Guardian and seek instructions.
